Twenty years after the poet’s passing Izet Sarajlić, the Sarajevo cantor who witnessed the tragedy of Bosnia, who more than any other poet of the twentieth century succeeded in recounting the great wound of war, Erri De Luca his friend and brother in poetry, Cosimo Damiano Damato and Giovanni Seneca ‘s Minuscola Orchestra Balcanica ensemble with Anissa Gouizi and Gabriele Pesaresi pay tribute to him by bringing “The Roses of Sarajevo” to the stage.
