Alto saxophonist Attilio Sepe’s project involves Edoardo Liberati on guitar, Guglielmo Santimone on piano, Mario Iannuzziello on double bass and Riccardo Marchese on drums. Maurizio Giammarco, a prestigious Italian saxophonist, is featured in the Campania altista’s sextet. The entire repertoire consists of original pieces, mostly composed by Attilio Sepe, dedicated to Normandy, a region in northern France. Each track is inspired by contemporary European jazz; the album “Heritage Normand,” to be released on the WoW Records dicographic label, is intended to be a “continuation” of “Nomads,” released by the saxophonist in 2021.
