The evening, which will be presented by Alessandro Fedrigo – President of MIDJ and Simona Parrinello – Vice-President of MIDJ, with the participation of Ada Montellanico – President of the National Federation Il Jazz Italiano, will feature performances by the twenty musicians who took part in the project.
AIR was an international residency program involving 20 young Italian musicians (Simone Alessandrini, Andrea Bazzicalupo, Damian Dalla Torre, Antonio D’Agata, Luca Di Battista, Giuseppe Dimonte, Francesco Fratini, Simone Garino, Marta Giulioni, Federica Lipuma, Federico Milone, Domenico Napoli, Pietro Paris, Federico Pierantoni, Giancarlo Pirro, Daniele Raimondi, Nicolò Francesco Ricci, Michelangelo Scandroglio, Daniela Spalletta, Luca Zennaro) throughout 2022 and early 2023, who spent 4 to 6 weeks of training experience in the locations of Italian Cultural Institutes around the world (Amman, Budapest, Mexico City, Copenhagen, Krakow, Dakar, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Cairo, Lima, Lisbon, Madrid, Montreal, Oslo, Paris, Santiago, Sofia, Tirana, Tokyo, Toronto) . All experiences will be recounted during the evening.
