Impetuous and optimistic, dense but ever-changing, the thrust of Fauves! <\/strong>does not end. After last October’s experiment at Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, the short-circuit triggered by the festival returns to make energies flow and explode that in their intensity return the rich sonic grain of contamination, labile boundaries and unpredictable movements of contemporaneity. Fauves! <\/strong>returns in its summer version, this time in the spaces of the Casa del Jazz and again with the renewed collaboration between Radio3 and Fondazione Musica per Roma, for a potentially inexhaustible game where chaos and beauty, swirling rhythmic impulses and unexpected explorations meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prescind from genres and to propose new sound experiences has, since the first episode, been the quest of Battiti, the Radio Rai 3 program that first aired on June 16, 2003, and on this occasion invites everyone to share the 20th birthday celebration together under a stage. Four realities are involved in the evening: the powerful improvisations of the New Future City Radio<\/strong> project, featuring two absolute references of the Chicago avant scene such as Rob Mazurek<\/strong>, on trumpet, and Damon Locks<\/strong> on electronics, accompanied by the lopsided percussion of Brazilian Mauricio Takara<\/strong>. From London, the Holy Tongue<\/strong> of Valentina Magaletti<\/strong>, Al Wotton <\/strong>and Susumu Mukai<\/strong>, for the first time in Rome, imagine the infinite possible declinations of dub in the encounter with other sound forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dark and with deep roots in West Africa is the path traced by Aho Ssan<\/strong>, author of an ambient contemporary marked by the particular perspective of the Parisian suburbs. Finally, Xexa<\/strong>, 23, of Angolan descent but based in Lisbon and London, explores strong and delicate themes with his sparse and powerful electronics. Bringing it all together are selections by La Diferencia<\/strong>, an Italian-Peruvian duo dispensing unconventional music from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
