And while even at times it may feel like being in Tibet because of a ritual bell or perhaps in Japan, the purpose is always the same: to go further and not stop at the first pleasure of listening. It could not be otherwise with an artist who has varied collaborations with <strong>Pat Metheny<\/strong>, <strong>Pino Daniele<\/strong>,<strong> Peter Erskine<\/strong>, <strong>Dewey Redman<\/strong>, <strong>Enrico Rava<\/strong>, and <strong>Richard Galliano<\/strong> behind her. With <strong>Pino Daniele<\/strong> himself, <strong>Rita Marcotulli <\/strong>collaborated extensively, later dedicating an entire album to him (&#8220;To Pino&#8221;).  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Israel Varela<\/strong>, a Mexican, skilled and refined composer, drummer, and singer with surprising and rich musicality. Euro Latin Award winner Israel Varela is one of the most accomplished artists of his generation. His originality and distinctive style have enabled him to perform with a multitude of famous artists such as: <strong>Pat Metheny<\/strong>,<strong> Charlie Haden<\/strong>, <strong>Mike Stern<\/strong>, <strong>Yo-Yo-Ma<\/strong>, <strong>Victor Bailey<\/strong>, <strong>Abe Laboriel<\/strong>, <strong>Pino Daniele<\/strong>, <strong>Diego Amador<\/strong>, <strong>Karen Lugo <\/strong>and many others.
